Cutera unveiled truSculpt flex+, a rapid muscle-sculpting technology. This product is touted as an upgrade from the previously launched truSculpt flex. The company states that the new truSculpt flex+ rapid treatment mode offers the same toning, firming and strengthening results in a fraction of the treatment time. It is now enhanced with a 15-minute no-downtime, rapid muscle-building mode, with the ability to treat eight areas simultaneously, including the abdomen, thighs and buttocks. This is said to shorten the treatment period, meaning that more patients can be treated at practices in less time. According to the company, the low energy levels achieve deep, full and rapid muscle contractions at a high intensity equivalent to 54,000 crunches.The Loubiworld collection caps have a “sophisticated zamak” design.
Premium packaging provider TNT Global Manufacturing and Puig, a Spanish fashion and fragrance company, developed three caps for the Loubiworld fragrance collection for the Middle East. These designs include the scarab beetle and the royal falcon, made of two Zamak pieces and the snake. Additionally, an “iconic” red decorates the orange-gold finish of the caps. Each cap is finished with shared red-dyed PP inserts inside to fit the bottle spray pump collar.

BioPhotas, a therapeutic LED light therapy partnered with Ulta Beauty, a cosmetics and fragrance provider, to feature BioPhotas’ light therapy devices – Celluma Pro and Celluma Elite – in 55 Ulta Beauty locations across the US. The Celluma Pro is a three-in-one device that treats acne, fine lines, wrinkles and general pain conditions, including arthritic pain. The device features a shape-taking design that permits easy placement anywhere on the body for smoother skin and improved texture. Meanwhile, the Celluma Elite features a rotating arm that enables a range of placement options. Similar to the Celluma Pro, the Celluma Elite also has a three-in-one device delivering blue, red and near-infrared simultaneously for faster results.
Skincare solutions provider Proactiv Company is rebranding and repositioning under the new name Alchemee. Alchemee will cater to a multitude of skin concerns, including acne. Alchemee will tap into the origins of Proactiv, focusing on evaluating different chronic skin conditions and developing scientifically proven regimens for these conditions. Beyond Proactiv, the first new brand to emerge from this new portfolio will be Restorative Elements, launching in early 2022. The brand will focus on skin discoloration and be anchored in clinically proven, dermatologist-developed, regimen-driven solutions. Following this launch, Alchemee will be introducing new brands and products into its portfolio to address common skin conditions like hyperpigmentation, psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis.The truSculpt flex+ technology is suitable for abdominal toning and strengthening.
Prime Matter Labs, a contract manufacturer of beauty and personal care products, acquired beauty.art.science, an independent custom formulation house for skin, body and hair care. The company also appointed Jennifer Hurtikant as chief science officer. Hurtikant will lead Prime Matter Labs’ research and development organization to develop its innovation strategy in this role. The company aims to make contract manufacturing better for brands. She will lead the R&D teams of the company, setting the vision for Prime Matter Labs’ leadership position in the market.

As winter is upon us, new research from cosmetic surgery education site Tajmeeli reveals that videos on TikTok tagged #WinterSkin have been viewed 4.9 billion times, illustrating how common issues caused by cold weather are. Topping the list of ailments is dry skin. Videos on #DrySkin have been viewed a staggering 314 million times. Chapped lips are the subsequent most common winter skin complaint, with TikTok users watching related videos 41.7 million times to try and find a remedy. The #DryHands took third place in the list of winter skin problems, followed by #CrakedLips, #DrySkincareTips, #FlakySkin, #CarckedSkin and lastly, #CrackedHands.
